How it began... I sold my first name doily on eBay back in 2004. I had listed a name doily for sale and got a request from an eBayer to crochet a name doily for each of her grandchildren. I then built my own website and started selling name doilies! Some years were busier than others... My busiest time was 10 years ago. I have a repeat customer who orders one for her employees birthday. I have had special requests for phrases. My longest doily ever made was the "Bartoli chiropratic" with 19 letters which was almost a yard long doily! My shortest name doily was a request for an initial. I even sold some overseas to an avant garde store in Paris, France. Nowadays the orders come in at a slower pace but regardless I enjoy crocheting so much that I keep going! I find crocheting relaxing & challenging.
